If the Premier league uphold these points and administer another at end of season for the second breach, whilst highly unlikely to give the go ahead for the 777 buyout, they will be labelled as the reason this club went bust and a 3/4 built stadium stands unfinished.
As much as they hate us, it's a massive backlash they'd face from everyone.

Gonna get it checked a few times at HQ after checking the league table, then send it to stockley park......

I'll get back to you. After the end of the season.

Everyone?

To be honest it's only us that are arsed.

Most other football fans think it's funny

I think we should at least get the sliding scale points back. That seems like a double penalty to me, it should be one or the other, a fixed penalty or a sliding scale say of 1 point for each £10m over.

Someone on here suggested that Forest are £65m over the limit, which would equate to a 19 point deduction if they used the same formula applied to us. It is completely disproportionate in the era of £100m plus players.

If the £65m Forest are over is correct , depends what metric you use that could be 32 pt deduction if they used our scale of punishment.
But as there are no parameters set by the Prem lge who knows?
It's very much a mess.

I should point out that I am not in favour of sporting sanctions for financial misdemeanours unless a sporting advantage can be clearly demonstrated, but if you are going down that route it needs to be proportionate.

I am left wondering how many clubs regularly post losses, and whether the current limit is appropriate in relation to football inflation.
