You'd be surprised how unorganised with scouts some clubs are. Some clubs just don't have much of a scouting structure (that's why you hear some players get signed based on Youtube videos).
Howard has tourettes, which is a bit loony.
But agree otherwise, he doesn't seem to have a mighty presence.
Never underestimate general footballing incompetence.

Completely fair statement. I'm not sold on your replacement choice just because of his dad. Kasper is a 26 year old career lower league keeper. Either way, I think Timmy has another couple of years. If he can have a full season like the way he ended, he'll have deserved to keep is job. If he has another gash start, then it's time to start thinking.
At least we are safe in the knowledge that Howard won't catch this thread....!!!

Think you're missing the point there. It's because Tim Howard is American.
Also, I think you're clutching at straws there regarding the punch. It was an unchallenged punch which happened to fall to one of our players 70 yards out. No thought process behind it.

It's a goalkeep's job to save goals and instigate attacks. Goalkeepers are judged on the mistakes they make. It's the nature of the job. Ask any keeper.
