Big Nev - No one will ever better him in between the sticks at Goodison. Loved that man when I was a kid.

Dad still calls me Nev to this day as I was always in that camouflage goalie top playing in the streets in Walton!

My elder brother used to call me Kenny ( as in dog leish) because I was apparently a whinger when I was a kid. Some of his mates still call me Kenny now.

Howard and Robles should be made to watch that video, they may learn a bit.

Neville definitely irreplaceable and our no 1 goalie.

For me second up would be Westie.

on that vid...1:40 in theres a shot - similar to Cabaye but hit even better.

The big man just moves across and tips it over.

Think Howards positioning lets him down too often tbh. Robles didnt exactly cover himself in glory in the CO Cup though so hes safe for a little while yet.

Yeah, he's not great at that. Here's a good analysis (of a WCQ game vs Mexico) if you're looking for more specifics. His footwork sometimes fails him.

I'm not bashing Howard saying this but we need a modern keeper who is as comfortable with a ball at his feet as in his hands.
Robles is the future.

Robles isn't the best either with his feet.

Howard was all over the place yesterday at set pieces. As poor as our marking was he didn't help his defence out at all. Should have had two from them Hull.

U.S. national soccer team goalkeeper Tim Howard will serve as the analyst for the Chelsea-Manchester City match next Sunday at noon ET on NBCSN. Arlo White will call the game with Howard, who will be in the booth one day after suiting up for Everton against Aston Villa. "It is the first time we will have an active player in our announce booth," NBC Sports Group coordinating producer Pierre Moossa said.

Clearly he needs competition to find his best form. I said Robles would have him out the side by Xmas. Not on that form he wont.
