No problem with anyone claiming to be ITK. Post whatever you believe or know is true, but don't start each and every single post with 'I said this and I said that' and spread the word of tabloids as absolute gospel and stated on facts. It's extremely boring and doesn't bring anything to this forum.
 
Bosmans are a great market for us but there is one problem, the players and agents involved want more money.

We missed out on Ba for that reason last year, and I'll wager its the same story again here.

A shame, as he'd have been a very tidy signing IMO.
 
Difference between Naismith and Rodallega is that the former had familiar faces to go to at Everton; Rodellaga hasn't. Even for a Wigan player (or players of his calibre), taking a chance on Everton (and Moyes in particular, given his reputation for boot camp training) isn't atttractive when the same wage can be had elsewhere. Frees who simply cant get a deal elsewhere will be our only chance of getting players without paying transfer fees out.

Didn't LCAB say that Ba wanted to come here over Newcastle? I think you may perhaps be overestimating the amount of professional footballers who would reject us because Moyes makes them jog.

Whatever. Even Newcastle are a bigger draw than Moyes' Everton. We need to acknowledge that. The last two sighnings we made we were in competition with West Ham (Jelavic) and Stoke City (Naismith). If a London PL club of any description or a club outside the top 6 come in for a player, we are not going to get him.

Speculation Alert ahead - This could get messy for us. If we planned to sell Vic to Wigan to get Hugo in as a replacement then we may need to sell a higher profile player to get the players we need in the club.

We need to get this thing back on track or prepare to sell A list players.
 
Do you reckon there's a Fulham forum somewhere, where London types are talking like we were yesterday, then tomorrow Rodallega will be lined with hmmm....i dunno Newcastle, and it will all keep going until he signs a new deal at Wigan and we all look silly.
