Not sure about the Osman-Rodwell partnership in a 4-4-2 but we'll see, it could work. In Jo and Yak we have two players capable of holding up the ball and linking play so it might be okay.

Good to see Bilyaletdinov back in the side.

Why is Heitinga playing centre half?

The same reason he played right back, he's versatile.

He's a bit of a shorty for a centre back but he looks to have a good leap, he was marking Samba at times on Sunday.

I like the interesting look of this set-up in theory - most people calling it a 4-4-2 but it's almost the single striker/4-3-3 on attack with Jo and Billy providing service to the centre. Osman gets his chance in the middle Cahill/Pienaar/Fellaini role, while Gosling and Rodwell get to prove they can defend against big boys.

For the others, I suppose it's who needs the run-out most and where you can fit them - I can see Neill coming on at some point but he hasn't played for months so can't be expected to come straight back in.
