Yeah, but his anonymous performance to games ratio is even higher.

We know you don't like him, mate, but we do not play to his strengths in the slightest. If Martinez won't change then Kone needs to be our number 1, as he suits the system.

Which begs the question, why the absolute feck did we even buy Rom?

He's picked Oviedo in the squad over Garbutt, I suppose he's got to keep them all involved, don't really need three left backs in the squad.

Think lukaku is being treated a bit harshly here - his premier league goals to game ratio was not bad.
Indeed. However, equally Kone did score in his last outing and performed well throughout most the game. Should he not be rewarded for that?

At home I would like to occasionally see 4-4-2 : Kone being the muscle man (holding up) and poaching, while also feeding to Rom to do his stuff.

That's unlikely to happen though, so unfortunately it will be either one of the two playing at a time. Could give Rom a bit of a push to up his game.

This is true, one has to go and you'd like to think that a careful evaluation has been made of which departure is best for the club going forward.

I got absolutely slaughtered for saying exactly this when we got him - it was evident he wasn't being used right last season after the initial run until Christmas, and I had grave concerns about £20m+ on a player who didn't suit the way we had set up to play, under a manager who refuses to change how he sets up to play.

And I do like him. I've said many times he's going to be a world class slotter if players in teams who are more direct and let him run off the shoulder of defenders. But he's never, ever going to be able to do that here under Martinez.

In fact, if Martinez is sacked this month if we lose to WBA and Hull today, Lukaku is the one reason I know we'll stay up, because anyone coming in would use him in a direct game and he'll probably bag a goal every 1.5 games or something to daft in that system.

Hull will just repeat what they did at Goodison the other week

Another game we looked clueless in

Well, the important thing about that is for us not to play the same as we did then. Nudge nudge, wink wink, have a bit of that, ooooh errr.
