Barca and Juve haven’t had Kappa for over 20 years.

The other two teams are hardly commercial giants, they’d get much more exposure with say a Nike or Adidas.

Kappa isn’t a big make anymore, might have been 20/30 years ago but not now.

The Scandinavians are very big in fashion and interior design world for the past fifteen years. I sense the majority of Everton fans are schooled on brands like Nike, Adidas, and Puma which indicates a lack of imagination and personal style. The question is would those fans choose a Scandinavian company whose products may be superior (just saying like) over their more established competitors in terms of style, quality of materials and fit.

On a personal note, I do ignore the mainstream labels as I feel they no longer offer quality or value.

Anyway, it all comes down if Everton/Hummel can pull off the right kit. Perhaps they can get that street credibility if they get a Danish fashion house on board to co-design the kit. Again this might be a touch too more forward thinking for some of our less fashionable Everton supporters.

This. I would rather we got a classy design if we can't come close to matching the commercial deals that kits generate for the big clubs.

It's not necessarily that they care about the kit itself, more that it maybe just adds more fuel to the second class club fire. They go into school and get 'haha you lost again at the weekend' 'haha you haven't beaten us in your entire lifetime' 'haha you haven't won a trophy in your dad's lifetime' 'haha who the hell are sportpesa and hummel'. Kids are a nightmare for stuff like that, and there's less and less stuff that we can reply with. They need something to be proud of. The stadium could be a massive help in that regard.

Firstly, Standard Chartered is deffo not cool and New Balance were crap when I was a kid.
