The badge killed Nike for me at the time. Didn't buy anything with that badge on. It annoys me now when I see it still used on social media, or at anfield last week. It was on posters behind the food and drink stands.
That badge was the last time we had a decent season.
Ironic really. We all cry about the badge and have a great season. We get.a nice looking badge and we have been pants since.

People who support a club will but the shirt regardless of the make if its a decent kit. It's really not a big deal. The major demand is for the club not the supplier. It's a closed market as to who buys it. I don't get how people are not seeing this? Your market for an Everton shirt is small (relatively speaking) and loyal. That would only increase if we were to gain any long term success. The amount if people who buy another clubs football shirt who are not a big club because its nice is miniscule.

That's the Denmark away kit by the way, though it looks similar as they just reversed the colours. There was a spate of 80s shirts in the top flight who had a remake of that shirt, Coventry, Southampton, Aston Villa all had it.

I'll tell you now it is very important. If you live within a certain vicinity of our ground ask any of our young support if they.ll buy a hummel everton kit and the answer will be no, it's very damaging.

Our potential support in North America will turn their nose, or not even have the opportunity, to buy one of our kits.

Hummel will be a massive commercial and marketing failure for us.

The Liverpool Nike deal will flood the city and globe with their gear because, it will be good and fashionable. A good example would the Nigeria shirt at the world cup. Sold out in hours.

It pretty much doesn't matter what the kit is like, it's the perception. As much as I wish the world didn't work that way.

Hummel to Nike is what Netto is to Marks & Spencers.

It's obviously not a big deal but it's still not a positive.

You're spot on, for the sake of what I can imagine is a few million, having a brand which is essentially a joke to the sporting world now is awful.

Seeing us walk out in Hummel is what I'd expect if we ended up in league
