If that’s true, then I find it hard to imagine we’ll be selling the new kit before the end of the season.

If you look at the club shop it's like a fire sale on all things Umbro, it has been for a month at least. to me that's them getting ready for fresh stock. It may be a rare situation that the fans get the new kits before the players.

I remember seeing an Oldham fan in the supermarket and the tail of his shirt said 'keep the faith'. I didn't know if that was supposed to be inspirational or a sign of resignation in the hopelessness in their predicament.

I shall however keep the faith and hope Santa gets my Ev socks for Christmas.

My favourite home shirts are the 07/08 effort, the LCS amber collar and the 97/99 one2one shirt.

I know, stripes are controversial, I thought of Juventus when I saw it, but same difference I suppose.
I think because Everton Mints are black and white striped, people think it makes sense for us to have a black and white striped kit
