Jiggerboo is old scouse for cat jigger=back alley and boo = cat

Might be best not to use the word even if you believe it to be true.

Jigger was indeed a back alley, but they called stray cats and rats jigger rabbits. I've never once heard a cat called a jigger boo, or even a jigga boo.

Thanks - coming from Texas, that kind of term has a decidedly different connotation and I didn't want to get all rowdy if I didn't need to.

Since joining GOT, I've picked up some new terms and plenty of new slang. GOT is like a little language tutor!!!

I'm a blues guitarist, and many of my influences were Texas Blues players.

boo mis-spelt there should have been bu short for bunny...so its jiggerbunny meaning back-alley cat....It was not meant in a rascist way or anything like that....

my grandad used to call cats jigger bu"s short for jigger bunnies and he used to plug them with his air rifle.

Thank you all for your thoughts on Hunting. Let me just say that long ago boys hunted to become men, how do boys become men today? Do we let them watch TV to become a man? Do we send them to school to become a man? A boy needs to be tough.

Shooting deer from a camouflaged position does not a man make. If you're talking about stalking game on foot then using a hand tool to slay the beast and by beast I mean something nasty and vicious that has a better chance of killing you than you killing it then hauling the beast home to feed family - I'd agree than makes you tough.

Wow. That's you playing? Very nice.

Other than Stevie Ray Vaughan, I'm not sure on who a lot of the other Texas guitarists are.
