We want someone to unite the fanbase, not drive an even bigger wedge between it. His lack of respect for us, will never be forgotten, nor should it be, whenever his name gets mentioned in consideration for the job.
Apart from me, who has actually forgotten .

feck it, just bin fatty off & let every agent we have contact details for, pitch the managers they have on their books to us.

Offer a nice finders fee and we will have half the worlds managers wanting to come, then we can pick and choose rather than trying to poach someone and end up looking like mugs (again).

Just reading the news on Silva - daft link to West Ham apart there's nothing there. I noticed in passing though the praise post sacking from Watford that Slva received from players like Will Hughes and Deeney - players who were even marginalised by Silva - underlining what a good coach they felt he was in terms of making them think more clearly about their game and role.

For all the BS about "he failed at Hull and Watford", we'd be missing out on a very good coach here if the carpet bagger doesn't follow through with his obsessive interest from 6 months ago and bring him in now...and for free.
One for the vaults this

Cyclist @Bruce Wayne does not like this

Marco Silva will return to Portugal to be Benfica Manager

Silva is unlikely to get another job in this country.

Very damaged goods, left 1 club, sacked by another, not a chance anybody would be stupid enough to appoint a failure.

Not even West Ham.

Any club with any ambition at all would be giving this tainted coach a wide berth.

You think that Fonseca will arrive here though, so your view is obviously barmy.

Fonesca will be the one coming in he's done nothing of note to warrant a big club the likes of and West Ham are the types of club that'll be interested imo.

I personally think the gravy guzzler will be retained for another season.

If I was given the choice I would pick Simeone, but realistically we have a chance of Fonseca, a small chance, given that he will be very much in demand, so im backing him.

I would still take a punt on Cocu, this is my current list.

1. Simeone
2. Fonseca
3. Cocu
4. Emery
5. Dig up Shankley
6. Duncan
7. Moyes
8. Silva
