I want Silva, had Watford easily playing their best stuff this season and that only changed once we unsettled the whole club.

A Manager who's teams "go for it" and don't play turgid "defence first" football.

So Fonseca or Silva for me. We may lose the odd game we shouldn't but the crowd will be more engaged and under either of these we can't help but improve our away record.

I wanted Emery before Koeman but this time i want Fonseca and i think that's most likely, if its not Fonseca then it will probably be Silva

Fonseca is the cool option I see.

And your point on Silva is interesting - I hazard a guess that he’s here next season. At this point I’d take anyone over Allardyce - in some ways I wish we’d gone for Moyes in October instead.

I’d prefer Fonseca but I’d take Silva and be reasonably content.
Hell no.

My God you don’t prefer Allardyce do you?

How dare you.

Nah, he's got to be gone soon, and off we go again. It's getting to be the norm, this choosing a new manager lark, and it's wearing me down.
I don't know who's on the list, or even who's involved in the selection process, but we have to get it right this time.

......until the next time....

Silva for me, I just think he will be a good fit, I want a young hungry manager who has his own style, I think a Fonseca, Emery or Blanc would only use us as stepping stone similar to how Koeman did and if they won a few games they would be constantly linked away (i.e. Koeman being constantly linked with Barcelona every time we won a match)

Give it to Silva and give him the remit and time to build a young side with its own Identity

I'm impressed with what Nuno Espirito Santo has done at Wolves. Great name as well.
Outspent every other team in the league and the club is a showcase for a certain agents players
Wolves will lose a few players in the summer without a whimper as I feel it’s already been agreed that players can leave when they want and for reasonable not realistic fees

Perhaps its confirmation bias, but Fonseca for me.

I would have said Emery all day but my concern now, even if he was available, would be the impact of his PSG experience on him. We need someone really eager and hungry as well as being the right footballing fit. Psychologically, Emery may be hurting a bit and I wouldn't want him seeing us as some type of interim consolation prize.

That said, if he was genuinely up for it, how could we say no?

But I like what I have seen of Fonseca, and in addition he seems an interesting character that would inspire players and fans. I think he represents about as good as we can do presently.

We really need to be making these decisions soon and I think for once that is appreciated at the club. So if he turns us down, Silva will be unveiled very quickly as I see it. It wouldn't be a disaster, but more of a risk certainly.
