Someone proven who at least excites the possibility of what he may achieve, nothing is guaranteed no matter whop is in place, success wise. The football has to improve though, it's been a terribly boring few seasons on the football front. That's why Allardyce has to go, the bit of faith I had in him when he was appointed has more than been eradicated.

He walked from Hull to Watford after the former were relegated in post season. Then he refused to break his contract to go from Watford to Everton. How is his record poor?
He walked from Hull and as soon as we showed him a bit of ankle he downed tools at Watford.
If Watford has let him decide he’d be our manager now

It won't be Silva because Moshiri's interest wasn't actually based on any knowledge of him and was solely down to him having a decent start and managing in the Premier League. Moshiri's probably forgotten what his name is.

Silva for me, I just think he will be a good fit, I want a young hungry manager who has his own style, I think a Fonseca, Emery or Blanc would only use us as stepping stone similar to how Koeman did and if they won a few games they would be constantly linked away (i.e. Koeman being constantly linked with Barcelona every time we won a match)

Give it to Silva and give him the remit and time to build a young side with its own Identity

What on earth makes you think Silva won't want to use us as a stepping stone but those managers would? Silva wanted out of Watford after 5 months and hasn't held a job anywhere else for longer than 2 seasons.

I fear Emery is nothing without Monchi. who seems to be doing rather well at Roma.

Silva is an horrific premier league manager who bases his teams on all out attack and no defense whatsoever. this formula doesn't work, and he was relegated with Hull. silva premier league record is P 42 W 13 D 8 L 21 GS 50 GA 80 - I DO NOT WANT THIS MAN ANYWHERE NEAR EVERTON

Fonseca is an unknown quantity, but he plays the right way and has over achieved esp in the champs league.

fonseca for me.

Hull to Watford haha the path of a man in demand by the big boys right there, as for his record Allardyce has a better record now at Everton then he did at both those two, Silva is a terrible manager with a poor attitude and focus
You either see that a manager has the nous to set up a team or you don't.

As much as I've advocated Fonseca recently, if Emery is a genuine possibility then he'd be my top pick. I'd be very happy with either.

We need a manager that wants to build a reputation at Everton. The problem with the likes of Emery and Blanc is that they have already made millions and proved their worth elsewhere. They have a ready made excuse in blaming their failures on Everton's limitations, and would not be concerned about being sacked with a 12 million pound compensation package. Their reputations would still remain in tact and their bank balance would continue to bulge after their failures at Everton.

The likes of Fonseca however still have it all to prove, and failure at Everton would hurt their careers more than it would for the likes of Blanc or Emery.
OK I have let this slide at least 3-4 times this last 2 weeks but people, the word is 'intact'!!!
