Really?what’s been noted by others - mainly a clearly desperate attempt by himself to drive the narrative.
Can you paste some quotes of his that refers to that narrative.

A bit like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.Close thread.
After watching an entire 90minutes of Huddersfield this season at home to us I would like to throw David Wagner’s proponents under a bus lolHaving watched an entire 45 minutes of Huddersfield this season, against Man City today, I would like to throw David Wagner's hat into the ring.
Because he loves his wife and she won’t travel further north than Milton KeynesSo just to clarify, people are ok if we take a flyer on Viera, Silva, or Arteta all of whom have done nothing of note as managers but not Howe despite him being young and having actual legit experience and getting a team of league 1 players to play actual football for years? Someone please explain.
His biological dads name was Graham.Zero value in there - the leading candidates are 4/5 and 4/1 - and it's not like when we sacked Martinez where there was a new favourite every few days, it's only going to be between Silva and Fonseca despite whatever other rubbish names are linked.
Harry's dads' name was James.
ExactlyThere's a fair few managers who would sleep under a bridge before talking to Southampton, but it might mean something tbf. I'm not sold on the lad personally. In all seriousness, I really think Howe is a better choice
The PL experienced thing is flawed, we have tried it 3 times now, be better to have a DOF who knows the league and a manger who knows about footballVieira would be an interesting choice. Has two season's worth of management experience - though in a weakish league - and seems to have done well there.
Personally, I'd take a PL experienced manager before I took on anyone else, but it might just be a masterstroke to employ someone like him.
Still Silva for me.
Exactly
Having all your best players sold off and you getting a quarter of the fee to spend doesn’t exactly attract the best of the best
I am reasonably certain that Moshiri knows exactly what he is doing now.Hardly the most attractive are we though? Let’s be honest, we weren’t beating them away with a sticky humbug when Moonhead went & Unsworth was struggling, even Gravy knew we were desperate as he put his sizeable frame in the massive hole we had created for ourselves.
So, in World Cup year with a shorter than ever transfer window being agreed in England, contract decisions to be made on a bloated and disjointed squad, what makes us think we have the ingredients for an A List manager this time around? I get the salary on offer, but we are a basket case of a club at the moment looking for a miracle appointment to bring stability to a playing squad that needs another major overhaul, an outgoing Chief Executive, uncertainty over whether a new DoF is being appointed, a new stadium to be built and an ownership question as to who is involved in the big decisions.
So, Mr Moshiri....over to you fella.
Your decisions have put us in this position so up to you to sort. Until you provide clarity as to whether there is a vacancy in the dugout, whether any interested applicant will be working under a DoF & which one, and how much influence they have, will probably be questions any new potential manager will have. I’d have a lot more to be honest, but let’s keep it simple for the sake of not appearing desperate eh!
If you don’t know the answers or you think it’ll magically sort itself out, this coming season will be a bigger mess than the last one...and any future fix will be even harder than the current mess we are in. Keeping Allardyce should you even be crazy enough to think this is even an option puts you in the same position in less than twelve months because as I see it, we are sleepwalking into the position Villa, Sunderland & a host of other clubs who’s new owners didn’t have a clue how to own a Premiership club and execute a clearly thought out strategy.
Couldn’t happen here on your watch though could it....?
This sounds plausible and I started to believe it could happen. But then I realised its Everton........really hope you're right about Allardyce being shown the door.I am reasonably certain that Moshiri knows exactly what he is doing now.
He has his DoF , Brands, ready to assume control. I think he will be officially unveiled shortly after this Sunday.
He also knows who will be our next manager ,one of either Silva or Fonseca. He probably already knew this when he only offered Allardyce 6 months.
Perhaps his one problem would have been Allardyce being too successful , as it would have made it awkward to remove him in favour of what many of us might have viewed as a riskier option.
Happily for Farhad, Allardyce's tedious football and unlikeable persona have made his task easy in this respect.
He has had 6 months to get this and more in place . At the final whistle on Sunday everything will begin dropping into place.
So do I mate, so do I.This sounds plausible and I started to believe it could happen. But then I realised its Everton........really hope you're right about Allardyce being shown the door.
