Silva is the next Martinez, swerve. The fact that he has never been any where for much longer than a season also makes me nervous. His teams have struggled defensively in the Premier. He does prefer attacking football and is clearly ambitious so if he did get the job I would be happy to be wrong!
I think there is a fair bit of truth in this, I’ve said all along I want Sarri but Conte would be a fine consolation.

Loved those cup run trophies.
You're right, it's far better to go out first hurdle and have no dreams. It's not like we had a manager who could win one...

...hold on..

Marco, with his winger running down the wing.
Marco, with his selling of Yannick Bolaise.
Marco, with his Zonal Marking that will frustrate.
Marco, with his beating of Liverpool at home.
Marco, with his cup runs.
Marco, with his beautiful face.
Marco.

I honestly dont know why he hasn't got his own thread...it's inevitable.

Cant remember him managing Everton, tbf.

You appear to have missed the point....again.

Afraid not.

You mentioned cup runs as if it’s something of note. Everton are about more than ‘cup runs’.

The image of ‘Arry was pointing out the obvious fact that previous accomplishments do not dictate whether somebody is a worthy manager of Everton football club.

Sadly you’re somebody who is more interested in an agenda and being ‘right’ than the good of Everton.

You’d rather we hired Silva to try and prove you right about Martinez than hire a manager who would actually be better for the club.

Very sad.

People dont like it but we could do alot worse than Benitez.

Not particularly fond of the bloke but if we couldnt attract a Emery/Blanc I would much rather take him than Silva or Fonesca.

Has took a very average Newcastle side to 10th and they've won 3 or so games against the top 6.
