I think richarlison would be worth a lot less now if we are honest. Something around 40 million you would expect. Branthwaite will have a lot of interest given his calmness on the ball. Branthwaite will almost certainly be worth something around 75 million +. Our current form with the clean sheets reminds me of when Stones was first breaking through next to Jagielka.

So doesn't seem good business. I know Richarlison works hard but I don't think he would put in the yards harrison does albeit he is a lot more talented. So I'm not too sure how good a signing he would be right now. I think there are better options out there unless if we got him on the cheap.

Hilarious how these no mark journalists believe we’ve put a 75mil price on his head, as if we’d do that, if you’re putting a price on his head you make it a ridiculous one like 150mil

Give them Godfrey, and see if they want to take the loan of Danjuma off us. I'd rather have Richy as a supersub than him. But no way can they have Branthwaite unless it's silly money.

Top prospect > good winger at prime age, and I don't like it even if they add significant money to the scale. Buying established Prem players with the Lukaku money is what got us into this mess. Let's not repeat that mistake. There's also the old NBA adage advising GMs not to trade a twenty for a ten and two fives.

When we are forced to sell, and sooner or later we will when a bigger club than Spurs comes along offering a silly wage packet and the promise of furthering his England career, we'll need to pick up a stopgap like the Coady loan on the cheap. Then, we invest the rest in youth. That gives us depth straight off, which we sorely lack, and puts us in position to develop some players and keep the transfer gravy train rolling.

Branthwaite is in good position to hold out a year or two for a monster offer from a big fish, so we should probably plan around that in the summer when we paper over the depth cracks at CB. His agent will probably use Tottenham to compel us to pay Branthwaite full starter wages until the right offer comes along. It's a good way for them to hedge against the possibility of serious injury while they wait for the right fish to bite.

Hate to say it but there is no way we can keep hold of Branthwaite long term. However a sale a couple of years into the new contact would make most sense as his value is likely to be astronomical in a couple of years time. There will be a bidding war for a left sided defender of his quality, he should have his sights on going to play in Europe frankly. Our need to balance our finances may screw all of this obviously. Was surprised when Richie settled for Spurs no way Branthwaite should.
