Particularly when those showed utter contempt to the club resulting in a letter of apology to the club from their club. Which was not accepted anyway.

The ex-Everton and Manchester United player was on standby in Sven-Goran Eriksson's squad ahead of the 2006 World Cup.

He tells BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast: "When England played Jamaica at Old Trafford and Ashley Cole got injured ahead of that tournament I remember going to a restaurant after the game with my brother and I was actually praying Ashley would have an injury that would keep him out of the World Cup so I could go. The thing I can't understand is people advocating signing Milner.
