I Hate Phil Neville

He did provide a boss goal against Wolves when I went overseas so I will be grateful for that. He was a starter for 2 years too long but that is on the manager. But to say he was bad here his entire time is bogus. He had a few good years with us.

Landon loved the guy
always rank average at best for me, cant remember a single motm performance, from a captain, but apparently his tackle on ronaldo changed our season, cured cancer and created world peace

When he played DM he was quite good at it. Did a bunch of Gibson stuff. Was smart enough to play a safe pass to Teta and let him work.

Not the most talented player in the world but always put a shift in on the pitch. Agree his soundbites were a tad annoying but as a person he seems a decent lad. In the days of footballers being paid obscene amounts and being proper tw@ts, i always thought Neville conducted himself pretty well. Always seemed to have time for fans and raised loads for charity including his daughters.

Not sure he deserves all the hate he gets.

Jimmy saville raised loads for charity, and in many ways i prefer him to neville

Once I thought his attitude was a fantastic inspiration to up and coming players, keep fit, toe the line, stay committed, a great career in football can be yours. But the way he's shafted Moyes, the manager that stood by him through bad and worse is quite frankly a telling indictment that I wouldn't put past Mussolini.

Epic snide. It takes some doing to be of lower character than the John Terry's and Louis Suarez's of this world, but somehow with the turncoat traitor job at Old Trafford aiding and abetting a different scumlord again (Giggs) he's done it.

Shame!

I had little problem with him when he was here. Its just prior to and since he left.

The arrogance looking down at us and you know he'll tap up our players given half a chance. That much is clear.

Its that tapping up and his mistaken superior view of United over Everton that I can't stomach.

Phil Neville's World Cup commentary is so boring police say they'll use it for crowd control: BBC pundit slammed for dry coverage of England's opener
  • Commentator's performance panned as fans brand him 'dull' and 'robotic'
  • Even police force join the online mockery, saying his voice will calm crowds
  • Neville was brought in as co-commentator by BBC for England vs Italy
  • As England lose 2-1, supporters turn their anger on the former player
The BBC faced a backlash over Phil Neville's commentary of England's World Cup opener last night - with even police joining the online mockery.
The former player co-commentated alongside BBC regular Guy Mowbray as England crashed to a 2-1 defeat to Italy in their first group match.
But his comments were branded 'robotic' and 'depressing' by critics on Twitter, who joked that they struggled to stay awake during his 'monotone' coverage of the late-night game.

Even police joined the mockery, with the official Twitter feed of South Warwickshire Police making fun of his performance during a series of safety messages.
They tweeted: 'At least we know Phil Neville won't stir the crowds in the pubs into a frenzy. Drink sensibly.'
