Lolly - Noun.

Ice can be a noun, verb or adjective.

Its Ice lolly, anything else is just thick.

going the ice cream van in Speke it was lolly ice never ever heard the word ice lolly until I went to Newquay and thought they were posh nobs cause they said ice lolly.......you will never hear of a scouser asking for a ice lolly

Ice Lolly is the grammatically correct way to say it, so I will say it like that.

Although everyone knows it is really a Popsicle.

Icy Pole.

You should know better Degsy.

Oh FFS, still can't bring myself to call anything but Ice Pops an Icy Pole, doesn't make sense, damn Aussies!

I'll just put my boardies and thongs on and crack a tube of XXXX while I crank the Barbie.

Good to see the leadership follows the path of truth and light, except for the Popsicle bit, for this please refer to the alternate poll.

Thats the spirit mate.

i always preffered a Splice on those kinds of days. Lemon flavour. Tops.

As I have explained elsewhere, there are two kinds of lolly. Lollipops are one, and they are never referred to as pop lollies are they? The other type is a lolly ice. Two types of lolly:

1. Lollipop
2. Lolly ice.

Easy.
To all you people thinking its an ice lolly, its ok to be wrong, as long as you learn from your mistakes.

I dislike both names as it makes me feel like an 8 year old for some reason, so i just stick to brand names all the time. But if i had to, i'd stick to grammatical sense, therefore ice lolly.
