The way lampard sets that midfield up he would make peter reid look like a yard dog. There is no structure at all. We have all seen gana gueye play and what he is good at. As a 2 in the centre of the pitch with a sitting midfielder like gareth barry. Lampard has never played a 2 in the centre when weve been crying out for it. Gueye and onana as a pair with onana sitting i think works. Plus the distances between our midfielders are just too big to cover. There is no way he can press. We need a manager to just tighten things up. Reduce the distances and reduce space left in behind. Move up and down the pitch as a team. Lampards burnt my head out. Why cant he set a midfield up seeing as he played in top midfields. Get rid.

He's a truly awful footballer. It was a daft sentimental decision to bring him back, not based on football ability. This club and Evertonians are just obsessed with bringing back failed former players for some sort of nostalgic reasons or something

Thought he was absolutely dreadful, passing the buck and had no interest in grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck. Far too many of them like that though, simply not good enough for a club of this size and that's been the case for far too many years.
