Got to agree with this.
There's absolutely no chance of getting dragged into a relegation battle. There's 11 points difference to Cardiff. Cardiff have only got 19 points in 23 games. And there's 2 teams worse than them. Probably need 5 or 6 points to be safe. Across 15 games!
We are 3 points off 7th and a potential Europa League spot (if the cups winners go our way). May only take 54-56 points to get 7th. That should be our aim now. Get 25 points from the last 15 games. Win 7 draw 4 lose 4 gets 25 points and a good shot at 7th this season. Use the Europa League qualification to increase revenue and attract players.
Anyone thinking relegation is a potential is letting the recent poor results cloud their judgement massively. Time to get behind the players and team and see what we can achieve this season. Sick of all the moaning now.

Decent player but 29 and not worth anything near to 40M in my opinion. I'd sacrifice him for squad building at that money.
If that offer is on the table it's because PSG need a midfielder now. Limited availability so may pay a premium so they can achieve some of their short term goals.
Nothing like 35-40M would be on offer come the summer. PSG would just target a better player since they'll be more available in the summer.

I think that would fit Siggy too. I just don't understand why Marco keeps playing 4231 if the squad is able to play 433? I know he played 4231 frequently in Portugal, but I'm surprised we haven't seen a real attempt with 433 yet. Maybe it's because he wants Siggy to be further ahead, or perhaps it's just the lack of passing ability from Gueye? We might genuinely see Schneiderlin in that role if Gueye goes to PSG

Of course you would but the point is that the formation requires a good passer not a good tackler. As much of a fraud and a sideways passer he is he would still be preferred in a 433 if Gueye leaves

Just imagine this: Schneiderlin has a run of good games (I know it's hard to imagine but try), and then some midtier delusional team will think he's a good player and buy him. If he doesn't play he'll just collect the 120k a week for the remainder of his contract.
