One of the best players in our squad, and one of the only players who I think could take us forward in to the top 6. Wouldn't sell him to PSG for any price. Simply one of the best in the league at what he does and is constantly let down by his team mates who aren't at the level needed to push us on.

He runs forward with it, he creates a bit here and there, but he isn't the best passer. The movement was pretty bad in front of him today.

Regardless, I wish folks would watch how often he gets from side to side to cover for our fullbacks running forward (and giving it away usually on the right side). If we had a bit more quality on that side, it would make a HUGE difference.

I agree. As I said in my last post, it is his team mates who are not at the required standard. Some people obviously don't value the role a defensive midfielder and expect them to be a creative goalscorer but for me, there are a handful of players in the same position in the league that are better than him.

If Gana had Hazard, the Silvas of Man City, De Bruyne, Salah, Mane around him he'd easily be capable of playing for those sides. As it is he has a team full of shirkers who can't create things meaning that it often falls on Gana to have to be expected to drive forward and create which isn't in his game.

He's 29 and gone nowhere near being on those sides radar
