He's a devout Muslim isn't he?

His views are shared with LOADS of other African players by proxy, so I find it strange that he's the only one getting grief about this LBGTQ stuff simply because he spoke out about the message of a footy shirt being against his religious beliefs.. ?‍♂️

Swerving the rainbow coloured elephant in the thread, it amuses me how people seem to think he was cryogenically frozen the second he left us and will come back the same player.

His position and style of play is almost completely reliant on his physical attributes. He will almost certainly have got a bit slower and crapper since he left.

We should be nowhere near this immensely unimaginative signing.

Just watched his highlights from last season. Certainly hasn’t lost his legs and remains the exact player we need in the 6 role.
A two year loan would be absolutely brilliant business.
Would make an immediate impact, and give us a chance to spend money on other positions before looking for a proper permanent younger upgrade next summer.
Get it done.

Unsure on this one, if you tell me now that he is exactly the same as he was with us or even only a slight dip in performance then it would be a massive yes.

I suppose it would be worth the risk to get him in and concentrate on permanent solutions in other areas.

His views are his views, he is obviously allowed to have these opinion. I, for one, am not going to force anybody to have the same opinion as me, I will debate with them as to why I think they are wrong but he is still allowed to have those views. On a personal level I have recently had a run in with some family members about being homophobic and they are due to meet my future brother in law and his husband (along with maybe a couple of my fiancées LGBTQ+ friends, at our wedding, next year. They are welcome to their views and I still love them but my sister is going to warn them strongly that if they say anything then it might ruin the wedding, etc. So, in conclusion, his beliefs and opinions should not necessarily come into it, if he doesn't go around shouting abuse at everybody, upsetting the applecart then there should be no issues.

I would not be surprised if there were other bigots in our squad but unless they use their bigotry in an aggressive and abusive way then so be it, I definitely 100% do not agree with it but they are allowed to have an opinion, regardless of how backward it is.

I mean, I believe drinking and gambling are also haram, yet he’s worn shirts with gambling and alcohol logos
