He is probably one of the quickest central mids we have ever had. He is the player that will pester the opposition; even if he doesn't win the ball he will make it difficult for you. He is fairly composed on the ball which is icing on the cake; he is a surefire upgrade over McCarthy who hasn't found consistent form since his arrival.

A far cry from McCarthy of last two seasons winning it then pirouetting 3 times before knocking it back to Jags. McCarthy may have a fight on his hands for a central midfield spot. Very much this. Sucks to be one of the gits that called him a bad passer, he does an efficient crab thing and allows space for Barry to do the Pirlo-esque spraying of the ball.
