Nothing wrong with having an early opinion based on a few games.

Nothing wrong with changing it later, either, if you so wish.

TBF...his first season here was brilliant. He was doing the same sort of things as Gana. Was seemingly everywhere in that first season.

Not disagreeing, but there were reasons why McCarthy was lauded in that first season. He seemingly was everywhere, and had a motor that ran non stop.

Signed a big contract, and hasn't been the same player since.
