Has there ever been a louder, more sustained round of applause at GP for chasing and winning the ball back than the one afforded to him midway through the second half yesterday? After winning the tackle he just laid on his back looking totally exhausted. Yet one minute later he was rushing full pelt again. Remarkable.
You've got to think he can't keep it going though.
Not even being pessimistic in saying that, given that if he kept this level of form going he'd be quite literally the greatest player the Premier League has ever seen.
Just got to hope his drop off coincides with him being away for the AFCON, then he comes back in form.
Surprised I haven't heard rumours in the press of an impeding United/Chelsea/City/Arsenal bid yet.
Let's not forget McCarthy should now be counted as "given a huge punt up the arse" and given how Koeman likes to work, is expected to live up to this standard if Gana can't play
Chelsea have got kanteJust sign him up to a 10 year deal already will you.

Just watched last night MOTD. Spent an age discussing Kolorov's stats which were no better than this. Plus Gana had very similar stats in Mondays match. Can't be many players who have had back to back matches with over 100 passes and 95%+ success ratio. Absolutely stunning. I'd like to know who the two players were who ran further than he did. LMAO if either Rom or Ross was one of them.
I hope we weren't stupid enough to include a release Claus in his contract
