I think it's absolutely disgusting that some people are glad he's just been eliminated from an international competition.
Yeah I'd ease him back with maybe a bench position to ensure he's fresh when he does start. Thereafter he'd by my first name down for the defensive midfield slot. His ability to protect a back 3 or 4 is excellent, he sees the things that Barry also sees but he's got the young legs to get about the pitch and make the interceptions , break up attacks with tackles etc. RKs job is then to use the others , Barry, Davies, Schneiderlin to come up with the best strategy for starting each game and then use of subs within the game.

If Africa want to hold their tournament in the middle of our season that's upto them, they should expect players in our League to turn up for it though.

Not our fault, why should they expect us to release our players for it?
At the very least International teams (not just African ones either) should be forced to pay the wages for the time they are away.
Let's see how many of these money spinning Tournaments there are then. If they want our player's box office draw they should pay for it at least, especcially as it impact on our games as well.

It's bizarre that these employees, who are paid 2,500,000 - 3,500,000 on average a year, are allowed to up tools and leave for one whole month out of a ten month season. This is without factoring in the high possibility of being injured to the extent that they will not be able to fulfill their role upon return.
Hang on boss, I'm going to go to another continent to work for another firm for a month. Oh - by the way, there's a chance I may not be able to do any work for an indefinite period of time when I come back.
