Noticed he's looked more of an attacking threat in pre-season with a few well hit shots from distance.

Wouldn't be surprised if Koeman has told him to try and be a nuisance further up the pitch with Schneiderlin there to cover defensively!

A nice surprise to see him add this to his many talents:

Can he get any better? :D

I'd say yes, because he needs to, to get a place.

He always kept his shots low last season which is something I liked. Koeman was actually allowing him to play a little more advanced once Schneiderlin came in.

Expect a more attacking Gana this season, needs to chip in with 5+ goals like the rest of the midfield.
Judging by the players we've brought in, you can see already the higher tempo in our passing in our final third. Klassen, Rooney and soon Sandro will move the ball at a quicker pace. Already in the 2 pre-season games Gana seems to playing slightly higher up the pitch, he has certainly been more involved offensively than maybe last season. I know it's early days but what I've seen already I'm slightly more optimistic we are going to see more goals shared around the team (Gana included) as koeman demands.

Rooney was really encouraging all the players to press fairly high up, im sure it was intructions from Ronny to play that way but it was nice to see, as you say, Sandro strikes me as a player who presses and we know that Gana, TomTom and Besic all press very well and lets not forget that Klaassen is Dutch for press.

All in all I for am very excited to see how Ronnys blues play this current season, we have added some good quality players to add to the quality we already had, with more to come, thats why I really cant understand all the negative nancies crying themselves to sleep over net spend, if you arent excited to how these players fit together than football isnt for you, not you btw, THEM.

Couldn't agree more. Hopefully with the introduction of siguardsson who is such a clever footballer, he will create space for others with his movement and quality on the ball. Siguardsson could play on the left of a front three or behind in a number 10 role. The commentators the other day were praising DCL for his movement which is true, but watching Spain at the under 21s Sandro's movement was second to none and he offers even more of a threat in the final third. Can't wait to watch the Genk game on Saturday now.
