Was you expecting him to win the Bundesliga at Monchengladbach? Or Ligue 1 with Nice? He took Gladbach from the relegation playoffs to regulars in Europe, including a 3rd place finish. He ended 3rd in his first season at Nice, their best finish in decades.

He's currently at Dortmund, giving their best title fight since the best days of Klopp.

Favre is definitely a quality manager imo.
