If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

Yeah I know what you mean, but part of that is just our projection of him rather than based on any real facts. We think of him being a solid type who'd set us up properly, but the truth is we were lucky to draw away at both Swansea and West Brom who were relegated last year, and were turned over at Watford, West Ham, Burnley (who hadn't won a game for about 4 years) etc.

We are even worse this season. That’s the point.

True we did ride our luck a bit, this season has been much the same,we could so easily have been two down at home to Fulham and got out of jail late against Newcastle and Watford. Just this year the defense is so dire, all the bottom clubs must wish they were playing us their next game.

In your opinion.

The only facts we can deal with are that Allardyce won 34 points from 24 games and Silva had 33 from his first 24. At different points throughout the season we've been tracking higher, lower and the same as last season. We had a run under Allardyce where we only won 2 of 12 games and lost 6 consecutive away games, it's total revisionism to suggest that this type of thing wouldn't have happened under him.

Palace missed a pen just before we scored too. Our wins have often been lucky , as in the timing of a goal or undeserved and could quite easily have gone the other way. I can’t think of to many games when we deserved more than we got , arsenal and Man U spring to mind but that’s it

We should have been 2 down to Bournemouth at half time in Goodison.

Not even sure about him to be honest. Did well with PSV, obviously, but is off to a poor start with Fenerbahçe in Turkey.

I suppose he proved he could work well with Brands though like..

He didn't last long with Fenerbahce but by the looks of things, that club has issues that run deeper than Cocu. Can't say I'm sold on him but if Brands thinks he's up to the task after seeing what he can do first hand at PSV, guess I'd have to trust his judgement.

Are you sure? Didn't you know that you dont mess with the pozzo's

even though we did, ruined their season, got their manager for free and faced no repercussion.

Srsly though I hope the only contact we ever have from now on with Watford is the two games we unfortunately have to suffer through each season. Gimps.

Here's hoping that tradition carries on next season

We are where we deserve to be. Most of our games are close because we're neither brilliant or terrible. This also explains why we are midtable. There are a few games we've won that we could have lost had things gone slightly differently, and a couple of games where the reverse applies. We only need to go back 3 days to see a game which we could easily have won. We had more shots, more shots on target, hit the bar twice, but still lost. It happens. Trying to make out like we're a million times worse than we are is dead weird. People did it last season and now they're doing it again, I really don't know why.

He was on the verge of leaving last season as he had some hard time with their owners not providing him funds. I bet he would love to lead Blades in the Premier League but we’re still too big to turn down for him I think if he wants to improve.

Sarri is a Napoli fan and it doesnt stop him to jump on a Chelsea ship.
True, but he probably felt he had taken Napoli as far as he could. He probably regrets leaving now!

I guess it depends if they win promotion. If he gets them up there is surely now way he would leave, especially as he will be able to get another Premier job after.
