If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

Not good enough he has managed for 6mths half of them excuses mean nowt ,get it out your head not happening.

You asked why...
Your attempt to discredit the points I raised seems a bit weak - at least give some decent reasons why not?
IMO - All good managers have to start somewhere, I think Frank Lampard is a good suggestion backed up by some valid observations and thought out reasoning.
Obviously all of this is only speculation, and just opinios as Silva remains, but what is the point in engaging with my post to tell me to get it out of my head
Cretin behaviour

I like him. I like his attitude and style. We have to wait and see what happens if he gets into a crisis and how he goes about digging himself out of it. Nearly had a minor one in the cup. He’s one to keep an eye on. Others in the past have fallen. Also Wolves fans may have a take on where he can improve within the limitations of Wolves.

Bit late to the party with this one. The big thing i think he can improve on is getting us playing more on the front foot at home. We are fantastic at counter attacking, but until the last two home games we probably haven't stamped our authority on games like we need to do. He also likes working with a small squad, which has its benefits but it could come back to bite us in the backside if we get a lot of injuries.

As a manager, he has an unwavering belief in his way of doing things. He has tweaked our system after a poor run from the end of October to the end of November when things looked a bit shaky and its paid off for us. Everything with him is about the team, not the individual. His Wolves sides have always played right to the very last minute and its showed this year when we have scored a lot of late equalizers and winners.

I personally think he is destined for great things. He never stops learning and adapting, He learns from his mistakes and the players absolutely adore him. Quite honestly, i don't think you would have a cat in hells chance of getting him away from us.

Two other points, what do you think are the limitations are he is working under at Wolves, and are things really going that poorly under Silva?

Why is there so much snobbery towards Howe and Dyche etc? They've achieved way more than Silva and Martinez and have a profile more similar to Moyes and Royle who were undeniably the last two managers to have well respected time here.

Howe took Bournemouth from bottom to top, and their ok to watch. Dyche took a similarly smaller club to the top, too. Didn't panic or splurge on the type of crap we have, and when he brought the same club back into the prem, he did so with many of the same players.

Don't tell me that doesn't build belief, show am ability to improve players, and create total respect from fans and players alike.

Not a whiff of that at Goodison, lately.

No to Dyche. We have enough bitterness associated with the club as it is.

Howe would be a great manager but our fans have absolutely no patience and would want him out when things hit a bump, like with Silva now.

There is one man who gets us and would get the respect of the fans. He's available and he'd have more money than he ever had when he was here, now that we're millionaires. Step forward - David Moyes.
