If Silva is sacked - who could/should we get?

I'm not an advocate of Arteta, but I doubt he would come in as a caretaker. He would want a contract from the off which wouldn't be unreasonable to leave City.

He's done an outstanding job at Bournemouth. Granted its a step up at Everton. No guarantee he can make that step.

He gets his teams to play excellent football too.

He has all the same faults as the likes of Silva and Martinez as in he's as open as a pair of hookers legs 80% of the time.

Is he the manager that is going to get us competing with the top 4?

I bet your answer is no.

We've apparently got a manager who we hired to get us competing with the top 6, well we'll be lucky to finish top 10 at this rate. We need a manager who has proven themselves at winning trophies or at the very least challenging for trophies not some no mark who has a team playing pretty football for about 5 games a season.

Arteta feels a bit right man wrong time at the moment. This squad needs an experienced hand with a manager with a proven track record.

For me we always look better with a stern hand of a Moyes/Alladyce than of a young hipster Martinez/Silva.

For me Mancini or Van Gaal are realistic and would be quality appointments.
