We should have gone for Scholes, that lad is going to be belter of a manager, granted unproven. Heard it here first.

Can see what you mean, not so sure in him, but one thing is for sure we have to forget about Premier League experience. We should have gone for Scholes, that lad is going to be belter of a manager, granted unproven. Heard it here first.
Vitor Pereira was who I wanted over Martinez at the time.
Perhaps not anymore, but at the time he certainly had the better CV over Martinez.Isn't he managing in China these days? I'm not an expert on him but if you still rate him, he could be in the running. Pellegrini showed that it's not exactly difficult to convince a manager to return to the big time from China.

Well I mean he's done alright at everywhere he's been since including Shanghai... just really think we should actually start making a bigger effort to go for a bigger & better name.Shame really because I do think China is an interesting market. It often has a few decent managers who've gone over there for the pay day but would definitely come back to Europe if a job like Everton's was on the table. If Pereira is still good like you thought back in 2013, he could definitely be got.

I was the same but I wanted Koeman, He was hot property at the time and was doing decent work with Southampton. Pereira and Fonseca would have been my choice as well although I seen positives in Martinez/Silva Maybe it's about time we just go for someone who hasn't managed in the Premier League.Vitor Pereira was who I wanted over Martinez at the time.
Emery over Koeman. Fonseca over Silva.
Three strikes - you're out, Everton.
The more I think about this, the answer is me. However I have an English name and as soon as that is changed I am in. I am also inventing a CV of abject failure and multiple sackings which appears to help get a job.I am right
But I dunno who
I like Quique Setien at Betis, but maybe Silva might still surprise us all.
But main point is no more % football. We have had too much of it over the last 15yrs. We need somebody to provide an actual football playing attacking Everton whilst maintaining a decent defense. The first manager to get that to happen consistently over a couple seasons will win us a trophy.
Moyes and Dyche are horrific shouts. Soz
I also doubt it, because that's what we're in now. But by the way, who are the bright young managers around now? Everyone always says Eddie Howe - are Unsworth and Dunc realistic (no) and I don't see any recent retired players in the Gerrard Lampard generation or the Henry, Viera types around.
