I completed Everton in I think 1986, possibly 85, Gary Stevens lived round the corner from my cousins on the Holmlands in Prenton, so we knocked at his house and gave him the sticker book to get signed, he told us to come back in a few days, we went back and the whole squad had signed it.

No idea where it is these days, I was sure I had kept it, but sadly unless its in my mars loft it appears to have gone. :(

Only album I ever completed was Panini's Football 78 (League and Scottish League rather than World Cup). Anyone remember when they superimposed the head on a stock body/shirt photo if they didn't have a proper photo of a new signing, I seem to remember one or two from the Celtic team that looked way wrong that year.

I always got their goalkeeper Campbell Money.
I seem to remember I got a few of him in 86. Must have c0cked up the print run. Always wondered why Scottish photos seem to shoot the players with piles of sky in the background, didn't happen with the English stickers. Also if there are any Scots about, did you have an equivalent Panini album where the English teams had 2 players per stickers like we did with the Scottish teams???? Interested to know ?scotland.webp

Oh lovely, hope youhung on to it, I always give up and they end up in bin.
They hung around the family home until about 2010 when my mum went into a home and we had to sell up to pay for it. The house clearer may have got it = I was already over here in Malta so had very little to do with the sale etc. Do wonder what it would be worth now, not much I think other than memories, but they're no good for my daughters

Looks like a fanatstic book for a bit of nostalgia. I actually have all the albums (complete) due to a costly ebay binge several years ago! Getting this anyway, may be worth giving someone a shove if they are short on xmas present ideas! Best thing about the 80s every player looks about 50 Amazon product ASIN 1399405225
I'm sorry, I think you all just said that footy nostalgia is best experienced through a pressed sandwich.

I'm desperately hoping that 'Panini' was your version of Topps in the 1980s, but I'm concerned that I might be wrong about that.
