I use Microsoft Edge, I've just added an adblock extension and refreshed this page and can no longer see the advert for Now Tv that was there. I assume this has worked but let me know if it hasn't when you do your scum bag roll call and I'll try again mate @GrandOldTeam I'm about as IT literate as Fred Dibnah

Disable Adblock on GrandOldTeam, that would be most splendid.

I use Adblock myself when browsing online, but I whitelist it on sites that don't take the proverbial. Ultimately - I can't afford the 'leccy bill if everyone has adblock.

Thanks @stubifier @emir - you was the only 2 on the first couple of pages recently active without adblock.

... Our next step is to stop access to anyone using Adblock which would be a real shame so come on, play the game blues.

I have it on when I use my PC as I keep alot of important data, stocks and crypto on there mate so I've a lot of security etc on there. But I mainly use my phone so it should be mostly showing ads for me.

I have to say, GOT does have the weirdest and most illogical ads based off what I look at on my phone but I see them which is the point

They should be pretty good mate but if you have trackers etc blocked they wont have a clue what is relevant to show you.

Doesn't being a forum supporter get rid of ads? If not I reckon i've had adblock or something on the whole time.

Anyone will a forum subscription will barely notice them but its still useful to keep adblock disabled because there's a couple and it helps us show to potential advertisers the true traffic on the site.

I never saw ads and always assumed that it was cos of forum sub, but it appears as tho I wasn't aware that Ghostery was an ad blocker and I didn't trust the site with that.

Hopefully, I've fixed the issue now.

Yes mate. I have Adblock, everyone should have it because there's some sites that take the piss but if you click on it you can whitelist/disable it running on selected websites.

I've had it paused on this site for years, even when I wasn't a subscriber or whatever it's called I barely ever saw ads.

Do have pop ups blocked though as sick of trying to watch Everton on a dodgy stream only to be bombarded with "come jerk off with me" ads popping up everywhere.
