To be honest mate it was an off the cuff comment, but like any situation people feel strongly about it.

I bet there's a forum somewhere where there is a melt off between two opposing believers.

For now I concur and will walk on by, leaving behind the sticky wicket that is religion.

Before this thread is almost certainly going to be locked - I wanted to say this.

I enjoyed the peaceful feeling I get from being in a church. The good things that some people do. Especially western religions. However, I don't buy into the overly strict methodologies that many religions require.

And as I am not really into half measures, it's either all or nothing, so I chose nothing.

I also believe that Egyptian, Greek and Roman civilisations are more advanced comparatively than ours, and they had a belief system far more sophisticated than ours. Plus they had more than one god.
