The bloke throwing the repeated punches should no doubt be fired.

Although, who's to say what happened prior? Not excusing the action, but it would be interesting to see just how isolated the incident was.

Just read into it. The 'victim' of the attack, prior the incident was "causing a nuisance to paramedics in the centre of the town". Now, with that description, he could have just been pulling faces at the paramedics but more than likely, it was more serious. The amount of abuse paramedics receive is a joke, if he was involved in as such, I have no sympathy.

In refraining arrest, he also bit one of the officers legs... prior any punches being thrown. Again, the victim tag starts to diminish.

To conclude. Its just one of them things that didn't deserve the media attention. Much worse happens every weekend

he was not causing a nuisance to paramedics. as for biting one of the police, was this before or after they had repeatedly slammed his face into the road?

for me, i'd like to see the three officers executed. all three are guilty of serious assault, misleading a court, abusing their position, and wrongful arrest.

they picked on a lone individual, because they are cowards and they are bullies. take their homes, take their pensions and gift them to the victim.

Sure he wasn't involved in any incident with paramedics before hand? Sure I read something to do with it.

If thats the case, imagine your girlfriend/son/daughter desperately needing life saving treatment and some moron is preventing as such. I am sure then you would like to see him executed? Nevermind a smack.

Its hard to comment upon really as I highly doubt it was an isolated incident. Its obvious something went on before hand.

Oh - and clearly (watch the video), the victim bit the police officer on the leg prior his face "repeatedly slammed his face into the road" - It was pushed to the floor, twice. Would have been once if he kept his face down. A technique told to be used to police to avoid being bit.

You know what that bite means dont you? A tetanus - meaning one less officer out on duty who could end up helping the likes of yourself, partner, son, daughter etc

Another angle. The "victim" was preventing a casualty from receiving treatment. He was warned away but continued, in a drunken disorderly state. Realising the man posed a threat to say, the innocent people out and out such as your partner/close friend etc, they tried to arrest him - he resisted arrest, biting an officer. Now I am not condoning the violence dished out on him but I am not going to be sympathetic without knowing the full story.

At the end of the day, we just dont know the full story.

I see mindless idiots in town every other week. Wasn't that long ago a stabbing victim by lime street was lying nearly dead, upon being treated some tosser started throwing bottles of ale towards the paramedics. How I wish someone would have filled him in.

He was asking for it by being such a [Poor language removed].

Why did he even need to gesture to them I bet the police are sick of the constant abuse they get aswell let alone the ambulances, If the police had more power then these sorts of incidents wouldn't happen.

Oh and if this guy wasn't a war veteran would this be in the papers?

Would it hell, reading that article it also appears he was turned down to become a Firefighter because of previous criminal convictions. So, basically it's some absolute tosspot on the take piss getting his head kicked in for resisting arrest and biting a police officer.

The officer acted perfectly fine in my opinion. I would've leathered the little [Poor language removed] more to be honest.

Thats the thing, he did nothing at all, the three pigs singled him out and battered him. then lied about it in court. at no point did any of them put their hands up and admit to repeatedly punching a defenceless individual with the help of two other cowards.

He didnt do anything wrong. That is why the three pigs hiding behind the immunity of the uniform should be executed, that is why their families should be thrown out onto the streets, and that is why someone should laugh and spit in the faces of their widows.

Yes but you can see on the CCTV that the fella is gesturing to them and you can see him attempt to bite one of the officers aswell.

The officers might have done wrong but the victim in this is hardly a saint.

There was a special force setup in nazi germany that ran around picking on people and handing out "justice", they were called the gestapo.

He didnt lunge in and bite an officer, they attacked him and he did his best to harm those that were harming him.

medal for him.

the CCTV shows me a case of 3 vs 1.

the CCTV shows me that yes the victim did gestur to police, but unfortunately for the hitlers in uniform, gesturing is not a crime, and is certainly not punishable by a street battering.

had the CCTV evidence not turned up, the victim would still be considered a menace, a person convicted of attacking the police and causing a nuisance whilst drunk. none of which is fact.

Ask yourself, how many times have those police lied before to hide their violent crimes? ask yourself, how many other corrupt scum in uniform have done the exact same?

How can you compare whats happened in that video to the gestapo?

He's heckling them you can actually see it on the CCTV whilst I don't fully agree with scraping his head along the ground. He should've kept his mouth shut, What benefit does heckling the police offer to anyone apart from stroking the ego of a war veteran who gets to publish his sob story onto the major papers?

The police have a hard enough job just wearing that uniform draws morons towards them who think it's there god given right to taunt the police if these morons get smacked about a bit who cares?

Serves them right for targetting the police, at the end of the day they have a job to do and would probably prefer to do it without knobheads heckling them. It was probably a matter of time before that officer did this.

Can you even hear yourself? so there has been an exchange of words, so what, its not a crime! I wouldnt be surprised if the police had threatened him, thats why hes moving away from them, then slips in the road trying to flee the thugs making threats against him. that they have all lied, in court after the fact only condemns them further.

but its ok, he probably deserves it. until they kill someone, but even then - dead people tell no tales.

Disgusting.
