Not being funny but to harp on about the plight of migrant workers in Qatar is more than hypocritical of the west.

Especially when those who are making the biggest noises are happy to look the other way to Israel’s apartheid policies towards the Palestinians or how the UAE treats its migrant workers.

Both those countries especially the former and have both hosted high profile sporting events.

It’s only because the hosts to this tournament are brown and pray to a different god. Why are other countries in the region getting away with it ?

Given that the workers who have died have come from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan etc. how crap must conditions be like in "those" countries?

The money they make is huge compared to the salaries you would get in those countries.

Corruption and unemployment in their own country makes going to the Middle East very attractive
