The lack of support he received when on the ball was shameful: quite often he was forced into the corner by two or three players, and people ambled over to help.

To be fair, their right back had him in his pocket for large swathes, however I put that down to being so isolated.

I think if it’s not working for him there needs to be more fluidity between the 3 behind the striker. Bring him into the middle or try something different.

If he pressed then a simple pass would have left 2 on one on Myko. Hard to commit to a press when easily bypassed

I can't help but wonder if he was distracted by Tete's mammoth forehead. Must be weird coming up against a defender who looks like you'd have to catch a bus to get from his eyebrows to his hairline.
