Going to the podiatrist on Thursday it is healing up, but it still looks a mess plus It's still growing inwards & It's still sore - he cleans what he can without hurting me, but he cannot do anything much after she butchered it to the extent she did as its still tender as the photo shows - she needs striking off really.....

It's getting me down TBH -

I've went to a Podiatrist after I completed the Belfast Marathon. Discussion was pretty much, "Look what I've done, can you fix it?" After removing 2 toenails and sanding down both feet with a Dremmel. Now I've got a Bid Toe with about a 1/3 of the nail stained red from under nail bleeding and 2 other toes with nearly complete nails again.

I won't be doing that again!

Very painful ingrowing toenails - I went today & the top guy tried to do a bit more work on the mess made previously, he stated I will see him again in two weeks, but hopes I will not need an operation to remove the nail - it was painful, but he was skilled & gentle _- I went in my slippers ......

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery, mate. It sounds like you've been put in a horrible and painful situation that could have been avoided had the lady done a proper job the first time around.

I will never go back to her again - I think Dewhurst the butchers is where she trained

Speedy Recovery Joey!

At the time - after the butchery, yes told her straight - I would be seeing the top guy about her 4 minutes work of butchery by her - an angle grinder would have done a neater job ....
@tommye is your man here! He uses a slightly different tool but promises you'll never have an issue with ingrowing nails on that digit again.

Doesnt matter, they dont do anything these days, as Joey is pointing out.

I had an ear infection a few months back, really sore, went the out of hours "yep, you have an ear infection, seek private help to cure it".

Bloody Tory rats.
Jeez, you scared me there. Thought I was going to be reading about a real life Reservoir Dogs torture scene for a minute.

No chance I would not do that as it comes out of NHS funds - I have had the procedure before carried out gently slowly just a slither taken out with a sharp knife blade, a little pain, but a perfect neat job ...... with very little blood in sight .... She was a butcher.... I have told them - never want to see her again ......
Unless you're having a barbecue.
