The commentator who does the old firm derbies will not stop talking immediately after every goal - every time. It takes away from absorbing the crowd celebrations and his chat is bad. Defo single him.

It's the ones doing the match I can't stand, wrong pitch of voice, if they get excited they start squaling

Terrible take - he's defo one of the best. Did make me laugh though.

I've always found the best commentators are the ones who let the sport do the talking. Less is more. Richie Benaud was a great example.

They seem to be able to commentate without wanting to be a personality which I enjoy, they've been a great addition on cricket comms teams

I can just about stand the Radio Merseyside fella who sounds like he’s about to burst into tears, but can’t be doin with Ronnie Goodless, as every sentence seems to start with “Same as I say…”

I love watching the match on Amazon, as they give the option of switching off the numpty experts to just have the stadium sounds.

I can't stand any of them. They sound as though they have spent the previous week researching, and typing out, facts/figures/stats about both clubs and each player + past player + manager/coach/ex manager/possible future manager + owners etc etc and then have to ensure they cover the whole crib sheet no matter how relevant it is to the game playing out in front of them. Most of the co commentators add nothing but irrelevant criticism.

I often say that if you were at the game you wouldn't want these morons rabbiting away in your ear. You unfortunately seem to be suffering from it
