LOL. I mean the press drum up the hype, the team never delivers then they stick the knife in.

But I see it with my own eyes. I dont think the England team is great, its efficient but never has a wow factor or play some good football IMO.

Well it used to, but then we had Sven and that other tit. In fact anyone since Bobby Robson has been [Poor language removed]. Capello gets them playing well though.

I thought Sven did well but then ran out of ideas. Think Capello gets them playing as a team and keep the ball more. But we still cant open up teams, which is strange when you see Lampard and Gerrard do it week in week out in the prem. Michael Owen was the last out and out world class goalscorer and no one has filled his boots...maybe Rooney but there's no-one else. Glen Johnson's just a hoof merchant at right back IMO, and we've got no one to replace Joe Cole on the left. Oh and Gareth Barry can be found wanting sometimes, cant really win the ball back IMO.

I just havent seen a game when we absolutely out played a good international team for a while. Maybe the Croatia one, but since then it was probably the England 5 Germany 1 game.

Tbf, don't really mind our national team that much, but just hate that moronic circus by our supporters. Always feel ashamed to be Dutch when watching them.:@

Btw, a pub with Everton supporters inside, has just been attacked by about 200 Ajax hooligans. Got the text of my English mate, who normally follows the three lions home and abroad, but decided to sit this one out.

If Caldwell deserved a yellow of shirt pulling on Carew, then Carew deserved his second yellow for pulling Caldwells shirt. Bit of a crap decision all round really. And how many times has Hutton been brought down, im counting 7 so far and it is just gone 40 minutes in.
