First meeting with them since 2002 when they won 2-1 at Goodison a month before Walter Smith was sacked

Last time we beat them was 1-0 in the FA Cup in 1999, we went on to reach the quarters that season

Last time we beat them in the league was the penultimate game of 94/95 when Paul Rideout scored the only goal at Portman Road

Last Goodison league win against them was the same season, a 4-1 win on New Years Eve 1994
We are playing away & our record is not that bad there ... Dyche will go for a point & try to catch them on the break .....

It's unfortunate that a draw would be considered a positive result against a newly promoted team, but that's the reality of our current situation. Without Branthwaite we concede for fun, Ipswich haven't been struggling to score either, i'm a bit worried about today

Can go either way today. If the home crowd are up for it and their players are at it from the off who is going to be surprised if we fold like a lawn chair though?

They will give us chances by farting about with the ball in their own box due to “philosophy”.

We will give them chances through an unsettled and unpredictable back 4 and wobbly Pickford.

Might be a decent watch. In another month when everyone is finally fit, it’s an expected win for us. At the moment though, a point would be disappointing but keep our total ticking over.

Job one: another clean sheet.

Everton back is it? gutted. I genuinely can't wait for the day I am excited to watch us again, don't think I have felt that way since I used to go with my dad. :(

Need to keep Leif Davis quiet, most of their threat comes through him.

Also don’t want to see Mangala and Doucs in the middle of the park ideally, they were shocking against Newcastle.
