Is Sam that bad?

Wondering why Schneiderlin was booed by our fans is the closing augment how he is out of touch. Thanks to a returning Baines and Jags(by necessity for red card Williams) pulled us through this weekend. A clean sheet what a revelation. Watch Sam re tinker the squad next week because of the win. It like he is toying with us.

I don't buy that. Players like Rooney, Sigurdsson and, dare I say it, Schneiderlin have all shown in the recent past that they can pass the ball accurately and consistently yet all of them have had issues at times this season. Something is wrong on the training pitch, and I accept it is not all down to Allardyce as we had the same probem under Koeman, but it is the managers job to iron out these issues and if he can't do it, and it seems quite clear that he can't as there were still a lot of misplaced passes against Brighton, then we need to bring in someone who can.

Its lack of movement more than anything. Players force passes because nobody moves. We looked a lot better this weekend though as we had players moving into space. It's still not perfect obviously...

I think for a player of his quality, Rooney's passing can be atrocious at times. Yet he will then make up for it with a pinpoint pass from 50 yards away. It's weird.

Schniederlin was on the bench and came on to close the game out when "we" booed him. How is that out of touch? He obviously agreed that he did not deserve a place in the starting 11.

It was about 2-3 games.

Again Allardyce does plenty of things to have a moan about without having to stretch the truth about him.
I don't think I'm stretching the truth in any way. I know what we got when he came to us after all those years in charge of Bolton. Walcott seems to like him so he does have his following. I'm afraid we have a difference of opinion on his attributes and what he can bring to us. I just can't see him here long term at all.

I didn't say anything about him being here long term though? Actually I didn't say anything about his attributes either come to think of it!

I don't think he will be here in the summer, I do not think the plan was ever for him to be here then and to be honest I don't want him to be here either at that point. For now though I am happy for him to just get on with it as I don't see what benefit we get from people complaining about him.

By the way he did a fantastic job at Bolton. It was years ago like but he did well there.

Well it sounded like you were defending him to the extent that you were considering him as a long term solution. My fault on that one. But Morgan Schneiderlin from the start of the season has not deserved a place in team from Koeman onwards. Unsworth dropped him for Baningame then Big Sam slotted him right back in the squad and that infuriated me the most until he heard the chorus of boos. Then the statement I can't understand the fans reaction. How is that stretching the truth? It was plane as day.

He did a stand up job for Bolton but you knew his philosophy route one most of time by-passing the midfield when he could. Not attractive football at all. Is that what we want after our financial outlay last summer. I do agree I will be surprised if he lasts through the summer. Stranger things have happened.

Every manager this season has played Schneiderlin in some form, probably because they know there is a player in there. He played under Unsworth as much as he has done under Allardyce.

Got to be honest I cant understand booing a player on whilst winning 3-0 at the time. It is utterly pointless.

He is a 20 odd million pound player so they are all probably thinking they can get something out of him.

We were rubbish to watch under Koeman and Unsworth too. That is totally understandable with by and large the same players. It was not his financial outlay, Allardyce has bought two players, one has done great so far and the other is getting there.

As for the not attractive football at Bolton, well it was a system that worked for them and it's not like they were totally route one. Okacha is the obvious name to mention but he also brought in the likes of Hierro, Camp, Nakata, Djorkjaeff, Stelios etc. None of them could be classed as being route one. He mixed it up more than people realize.

But that was ages ago anyway. I can be realistic without loving the bloke. He has done no worse than the past 2 managers, maybe 3 if you include the Martinez final season. I am just happy for him to get on with his job, leave us in a decent stead and then move on. He is 63 years old and was retired, he probably doesn't want to stay on either! If he goes in the summer leaving us in a steady position whilst bringing in 2 good players and getting rid of some crap then he will get a bit of credit from me.

Good post and summation.

I remember Bolton giving us a 0-4 football lesson a few years ago under Allardyce with little or no hoofing involved.

These ridiculous threads are starting to grate me. Listen he’s kept us up with atrocious football and the mans a fraud. You don’t want him anywere near the club beyond this season unless your a RS. Now pack it in and let’s get behind moshiri sacking this tool.

For the haters he will always be.Got a reaction from the players after a dismal performance last week.

His own brand of football his tactics his selfishness and his arogance makes him what he is. He’s hated for a reason and it’s valid stop trying to defend a one trick pony, if you want Everton to try and do anything you will want FS booted out.
