I just think losing sleep over Everton is a tad melodramatic mate.
We're not going into liquidation and we've been crap for 27 years.
Its not just Everton. It's time spent with the boys. It's memories and family tradition.

We haven’t been “crap for 27 years”. We haven’t won a trophy for 27 years.
There was a time when I was proud to support this club, I felt like it represented me appropriately as a fan. And it wasn’t that long ago really. I am utterly ashamed right now. The club is the laughing stock of the football world. I absolutely resent what this club has become in the last 6 years.
Thanks be to God I have Shamrock Rovers. The Dubs have been brilliant too apart from last year. I would love to see the hurlers make the breakthrough.I've completely lost interest in football. Of course i'll always support Everton and want them to win, but i'm not arsed about football in general, with it's corrupt owners dodgy advisors, and the Saudi terrorist human rights abusing blood money.
I've found other sports to fill the void though, growing up in Ireland i was always into hurling and gaelic football, and i've gotten into sports like aussie rules football and ice hockey as well. I hate football but still love Everton, despite all the heartbreak they inflict on us!
Which was ultimately down to David Moyes.
Without David Moyes we would be a League One club right now.
Very short memories our fans have.
It looked like Dublin, were going to emerge as a force in hurling a few years ago, but we sent Ger Cunningham up there to manage them. Ger failed dismally to build on Anthony Dalys good work, and his tenure as manager seemed to set Dublin hurling back a bit. Thanks be to God I have Shamrock Rovers. Living in Kilkenny and married to a Tipp lady, it would be wonderful.
Waiting for Everton to get some sort of passion in its squad is wearing me down.
And?
Early days but we hammered Galway and are in the Walsh Cup Final. One or two swallows don't make a summer of course. It looked like Dublin, were going to emerge as a force in hurling a few years ago, but we sent Ger Cunningham up there to manage them. I agree with you in that under Moyes we had identity and a few good seasons.
But ultimately that was more down to him/his recruitment than of the club/board/governance of the club itself.
In reality the clubs been ran like a brass house for over two decades now.
Oh I dunno. I remember some bleak times late 70’s early 80’s.Never been a worse time to support us in our entire history, even including the 70s and 90s.
Well Moyes was at least allowed the control he had of the club. What has been the plan for the last 6 years? We’ve had 2 directors of football who weren’t allowed to do anything, 6 managers who haven’t been allowed to do anything, Moyes would’ve been sacked at the end of his second season if Moshiri was in charge back then and we’d have appointed Martin Jol.
There is no proof in that though! Even if you give Moshiri Iwobi, Tosun and El Ghazi, Walsh still wasted millions on the following:
Keane
Bolasie
Klaassan
Sandro
Schneiderlin
Williams
Brands wasted millions on:
Kean
Gomes
Gbamin
Delph
Benard
Ancelotti had a job for life at Everton had he not done a runner, Benitez was given free reign by all accounts. Silva was Moshiri's pet and was given a lot of money and time based on his CV.
Thats the issue for me ultimately - we are having a bad season but the hyperbole over the club/owner has been pushed that much by the social media fans like Bobble etc that everyone genuinely believes Moshiri signs every player, picks the team and formation every week and its completely untrue/ highly exaggerated!
Moshiri needs to get a grip of things and build some solid foundations we all know this - but the fan unrest, exaggeration & #fakenews is doing no one any good.
