I dunno, watching the full game against Tranmere the other day - he looked good passing. Not amazing, mind, but good, I do believe he's improved at least a bit.Seems like a nice enough lad and has the heart to succeed. That injury he sustained was horrific.
He just doesn't strike me as a composed ball-player that we seem to be striving for these days. He IS good in the air but his head must be like a 50p because whilst his clearances do go far, you are just never sure in which direction.
Put it this way, I trust Alcaraz in the team more than Duffy.
As pointed out above, he belongs to another era....or a more 'agricultural' style manager.
And if anything - Jags also "learned how to pass" rather late in his career, didn't he? Duffy's 22, he has plenty of time to learn his trade a bit better. I believe he will get chances this season, and remain hopeful that he takes them and performs as we all want him to...
