Florentino Perez treats his players right and allows them to go where they want to in the most part. If Isco wants to leave and Zidane doesn't rate him anymore, Florentino will deal just as he did with James, Regulion, Hakimi, Llorente, Bale.

Madrid fans seem to think so after seeing him in a training session. He looks like he's carrying a bit of beef like but I wouldn't say fat. Thing for me is he looks about 40!

3 years ago, I was lucky enough to go to the Bernabeu to watch Real Madrid with my family. All the attention was on Ronaldo and Bale when he came on as a sub and scored a wonder goal, but for me, one player stole the show - Isco. He was everywhere and just seemed to be controlling the game - beautiful passes, but getting stuck in with the tackles when necessary. I know everyone is saying he isn't the player he was, but they were saying the same about James. I didn't know who he was and asked my son his name. He knew him and said if only Isco would come and play for Everton. At the time we both laughed, but now who knows ....?

But the difference from James was the situation. James was never in bad form or shape. When he was in the field, he was good as his per 90 minutes stats show. He just wasn't getting much play time or any play time under Zidane. Isco the last 2 years has actually played a lot but still managed to regress and has not been productive on the field.

It's nothing that can't be fixed but it definitely is something that needs fixing. Isco in his current form would not do much for us, but I believe he would improve just coming here with Carlo and seeing James' experience will get him to get his fitness levels back

Not sure if it's been posted, but that's a response from the boss on Isco.

I always interpret "he's a fantastic player but.." as code for "yes, I'm interested." Seems like the best way of sending a message to a player without obviously tapping up.

This one could have legs. Big chubby Isco magic legs.
