There was an accident involving spectators a few years back at Bray Hill. By all accounts there were payoffs and the whole thing was brushed under the carpet.I think it will continue as it is personally, it’s not a global sport like F1… it’s a niche once a year event and there is very little opposition to it. The common theme from the families of those who die is that they still fully support the race and don’t think it should be changed. The local public are very supportive of it as well. I imagine it will be around for many years to come.
Maybe if there was a big accident involving spectators things might change.
