This has become a massive problem in football and every year they move away even further from the reality of real life to 99% of us. Young lads become millionaires and I don’t care what you say it affects most of them in remaining hungry and wanting to be the best they can be an getting as far as possible in their career Take Tom Davies probably a good example average player could of bettered his career in terms of progression by dropping into the championship but probably half his wages so sat wasting away taking the money, no doubt set up for life now and could retire poor player lacks ambition and talent nothing like regular competitive football to get better no matter how good or bad you’re there is always room to improve if you want to.
