Don’t you think you’ll win? I think it will be like the Alamo.
No, I’m afraid we wont win. We always bottle the important games, excepting the FA Cup final, in which we rode our luck, and Bodgers nearly blew it in the final 10 minutes.

I have a passing dislike for Leeds, mainly because I remember the Revie era, Billy Bremner, the bruiser, not sure who was more violent their players or their supporters back then, anyway since they sunk I let go of the animosity.
As for Leicester, there just another plucky provincial team, like Derby, Nottm. Forest, Coventry, Southampton, Middlesbro, Luton, et al. What I don't want though is for us to become just another 'provincial' club.

@Nymzee used to be a Leeds fan. Could be the son.
No idea . A few Leeds mates and my son know I post on here,he thinks I am soft for liking Everton. I like football, I am long in the tooth your perspective changes as you get older. We come from Notts so we go to the odd county game. Last one was v Boreham Wood in play off semi final . 15000 gate cracking game and atmosphere. Division 5 football still great to watch. The County owners earn their money from data,I think they could climb the leagues quite quickly.

History no matter how old, grabs fans from all over the world. If Everton or Leeds made a major breakthrough by challenging for honours a huge global market would open up for both teams.lLeeds from that era Bremner etc always had their enemies, but they also admitted they were a good team.

Well we lasted 3 years . Tried to do it on the cheap, and failed miserably. Its been entertaining coming on this forum . If the unthinkable happens ,and Everton are relegated your world doesn't end. The Championship is a great league,I think it gets the 4th highest attendances in the world . Personally as I.started watching Leeds in the mid 70s I think football has sold its soul to the money gods. Grounds are better, atmospheres are terrible at most grounds, and its now a one horse race. Rant over .MOT
Given what happened splashing the (comparitive) cash under Risdale last time you were a PL team I think moderately financial prudence has probably left you on a better overall footing in the long term. Poor manager / DOF choices seem to have been the killer.
